I've been using this for years. I love it because it doesn't leave a trail of dust and clumps really well as compared to other brands I have used. It really absorbs the smell, and best of all the litter doesn't get stuck in my cat's paw pads to be trailed around the house. I also use the 24/7 and both work great!
I used to use non-clumping litter until I took care of a neighbor's cat while she was out of town. She used Tidy Cats clumping litter and I loved it! I immediately went out and bought some. I donated the non-clumping I had on hand to my local cat shelter. I love the plastic buckets and reuse them to store many things like bird seed, holiday decorations, and fabric. The buckets are a bonus!
We have 3 indoor cats. I have tried multiple types of litter and Tidy Cats is by far superior to all the others. It clumps well, absorbs odor, and lasts a long time. If I had to drive 50 miles to get it, I would. It is my ultimate first choice for cat litter.
I have been using Tidy Cats Instant Action for years...in fact I have never used a different brand in the 13 years since I first became a cat owner. I know have three cats and this litter is awesome...clumping and does not stick to litter box.
I have been using this cat letter for over a year and did not really appreciate what it does. I tried using arm and hammer clumping litter that says it estimates the smell and thought I'd give it a try. It was more expensive but what the heck right? It smelled great out of the box.... But when I went to clean it up the urine clumps broke apart and released the ammonia smell. And in the process completely mixed back in with the litter. I do not think I was able to completely get a clump out. And over time it made my house smell so badly. When I used tidy cats before there was no smell. None at all. Visitors didn't even know I had a litter box behind the couch. The clumps come out perfectly and do not break apart. They are like bricks. And after you clean it out, even after a few days like I just did, the litter is left looking as good as it did when I added it out of the box. I will continue to always use this litter no matter the price when is cheaper than arm and hammer. I don't have anything bad to say, I can't compliment enough. Simply the best.
I have been using this Tidy cat litter, which we call the " blue lid Tidy Cat". I have no problems with my fussy cat using this litter! He was a rescue who was not litter pan trained, and this is the ONLY litter that he likes. Please Tidy Cat, do not ever alter this litter formula or discontinue it, as WE NEED IT, and have been using it for almost 10 years. My cat is sensitive to scents, and other litters are too fragrant for him. This litter has a pleasant scent, so do not ever make it stronger scented or change it's texture. Thank you Tidy Cat!!!
