I've used Tidy Cats Clumping Litter in one form or another for approximately the past 7 years. I've tried other brands, but always go back to Tidy Cats. The cats seem to like it, it controls odor relatively well, and it doesn't seem to scatter as bad as some of the other litters I've tried. Lately I discovered the Glade Tough Odor Solutions, and I'm really happy with it. Initially I thought that the cats might not use it because of the scent, but they never seemed to notice the scent. I really like it, and I'd recommend it to other people. It's a great product.
I am a sphynx breeder (hairless cats) and use A LOT of litter. I have tried every conceivable type of litter out there, including corn, wheat, recycled-newspaper, crystals, non-clumping, clumping, self-scooping...you name it, I've tried it. I always come back to Tidy Cats and recommend all my buyers use it too. It out-performs all other brands I've tried. My cats love it too. Buy with confidence.
I've used nothing but Tidy cats scooping since 2004,using 24/7 red, then switching to the blue instant action since that came out.It was time to stock up on litter & make my 2 cats new litter boxes.
They are both rescues, but I found out the hard way that my big cat, a Norwegian Forest cat mix.3&1/2 at that time was used to a non-covered,VERY high box as he urinated over the top of the highest box I could find.Or that may be why he was taken to our HS.I make new boxes out of huge plastic storage bins every 2 years.I spray the inside with Stink Free litter spray to seal any pores in the plastic.
I bought this new litter 2 months ago. It takes a 35 lb.box of litter for each of two boxes.I scoop once a day for 2 cats & add litter when needed.
I could smell the Glade scent strongly at first & I thought my cats might not like the smell.
I shouldn't have worried. They took right to it & it even absorbs the odor of poo from the big cat who doesn't bury.It is 6 weeks later & my rooms are still smelling great & my cat's bellies do too.
Keep up the good work!!!!!!!
I have always had cats. I have used nearly all the brands of litter out there and Tidy Cats works best in my opinion. It clumps best and stays together best. Then - I accidentally bought the glade kind - and when I poured it in the litter box - I was like, "woah! What's this??" It smelt wonderful. ... and STAYED smelling wonderful. The cats had the best smelling room in the house while I used this! I wanted some more but the store was out when I bought more. Will try again next time.
We have used generic litter for our cats as long as I remember. My husband was always the one who picked it up for me, but he never cleaned the box. Finally I got to go peruse the aisle of litter and grabbed Tidy Cats Clumping Glade Odor Control. First of all let me say; Now, I know what I was missing! The litter smells great.. I still haven't smelled any cat smells even when I'm scooping. The litter clumps minimally so there's no wasted litter "tagging along" to the yuck stuff when you scoop. The litter doesnt stick to the cats feet and cause a sandy mess everywhere they walk. Tidy Cats was just a dollar more than the generic and for that dollar more I also got an extra 15 pounds as well. Inside the box there was a free sample of Friskies! I just love this stuff!
