Just like Yesterday’s News® Brand Original Formula, the Softer Texture variety is made from recycled paper. But Tidy added a fresh scent and softer texture pellets to this blend so it feels more like regular clay.
Going natural was always a great idea. But the result? Not right. Tidy combined cedar, corn and pine to create a naturally absorbent clumping litter with outstanding odor control. And made Mother Nature proud.

We are really enjoying Pure Nature. In our 4 cat home, we look for the best or our cats and our home. Pure Nature has great odor control and is less dusty than another natural litter we've used. We're really pleased!
bought this as a second choice because the store didn't have the arm and hammer litter, and i'm glad. this works so much better, the smell is great and masks the urine smell wonderfully, yes it tracks easier than clay but my cat not getting his uti's since using the natural litters is a great trade off
Living in a house with room mates, my cat's litter box is confined to my room. I've gone through about 5 different types of litter while trying to find the one that keeps the smell to a bare minimum. I also have a bunch of computer equipment in the room, and noticed other litters leaving a ton of dust everywhere. This litter is the best for containing the kitty smells, and only has a bit of dust when poured. The only down side is that it tracks. And it tracks bad. I have a track mat under the box and it still gets everywhere! I have to vacuum constantly to keep my floor clean. Other than that, this is the best litter out there! I tried one of the competitor's version of the Natural litter, and it smelled terrible.
I decided that for our 6 cats, I was tired of the regular, heavy litter. I tried many versions with crushed corn, wood, etc and found this to be the best at clumping and it retains the smell so the smell is not through the entire house. I love it. I could come down a dollar or so. This is my favorite now.
My old lady cat is VERY particular about the litter she uses. I have tried every one available. Since I tried pure nature, I have stopped looking. Not only does she approve, there is no smell, it clumps fine and stays longer than any other I have tried.
I've been using this product from the first time I found it on the shelves, and love using this for my cat. I love the cedar smell and how well it neutralizes the smells. My kitten loves using this and I only wish there were more bags stocked at Target!!!
I buy whatever is on the shelves when I find it, and the litter shelf saved for purenature(c) is usually bare. Stock more at Target please, and thanks for creating this great product.
I was at the grocery store and was walking home. Spotted this, grabbed it thinking i could put it in the garden if I did not like it. I scooped today and the urine clumped solidly. I had been buying a popular name of a clumping clay. They just lost a customer. Oh, well! I love it that my cats will not smell like perfume. Even the unscented ones still smelled scented.
I used to have a problem with dusty litters and with my asthma I simply had to find a good alternative. I tried Tidy Cats Pure Nature and discovered that not only did it not create dust, but it clumped well. The most unexpected benefit though was that due to the unique ingredients, when I scoop, now the air spells cedar fresh!
