If your pets are like most other cats and dogs, they rarely watch TV. Although they can perceive what’s on the screen, they often choose not to. Pets simply don’t find “people shows” such as CSI or Survivor interesting.
But DVD’s created for pets can spice up your cat’s life with vicarious outdoor pleasures. The best ones feature a variety of species and scenarios, such as flying birds and scampering squirrels. Frequent, jerky movements and natural soundtracks all get ‘four-paws-up.’ Such programs can be used as a special treat, or to entertain your pet while you’re away. Some pet owners even use them to speed their animal’s recovery following an illness.
